I love to send thank you cards to my customers and to anyone who may help me out. AND, a LOT of people help me out. It's such a simple gesture but I think it means a lot. I know I appreciate a thank you note, too. This one uses what I call a "Split Card Technique." I love the beautiful patterned papers that Stampin' Up! included in this annual catalog. On this card, I say that the patterned paper does all the work.
I did a quick Facebook Live to show how I made the card. For some reason it is sideways. I apologize! I seem to be quite challenged in camera orientation.
Here is the card I made on FB and you can see the video here.
Here are the correct dimensions for the card:
Whisper White card base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Garden Green mat: 5 1/4" x 4"
Bumblebee small mat: 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"
Two DIFFERENT pieces of patterned paper, layered and cut at once: 3" x 4 1/4"
Whisper white scrap for sentiment
Ribbon or 1/2" wide scrap of paper to layer under sentiment.
Here is another card I made using the same pattern using the other two papers and terra-cotta tile with early espresso. .
You can see all the supplies I used below and click on any product to shop in my online store..
Now it's time for you to go make a card! Just find two pieces of patterned paper that coordinate well together and try this layout!
