I am one of those folks with good intentions that don't always come to fruition! I'm so happy that I managed to finish up these treat bags in time for Halloween this evening! But, don't just think Halloween! These bags are great for birthday party favors- or any party- Thanksgiving, Christmas or Valentine's Day, too! The best part is that the Celebration Tidings stamp set can help you with all of those holidays! You don't want to miss it!
Don't be scared! These were so quick and easy! Especially using my Stamparatus to make them "batch" or assembly line style. I cut my white card stock to 1 3/4" x 3" and stamped the Happy Haunting in Pumpkin Pie ink. The spider web/scroll and the spider were both stamped at the same time in Basic Gray. The stamps are both from the Celebration Tidings stamp set. I adhered them to a piece of Plaid Tidings paper. I selected those that had a Halloween feel and cut them 2 1/4" x 3 1/4".
I put three fun size candy bars in a gusseted cellophane bag and folded over the top. I stapled this closed and then adhered the label. Using a paper punch, I punched two holes and threaded the Glittered Organdy ribbon through the holes and tied it off! Easy peasy and it was done!
Now, I hope I get a few trick or treaters! If not, I'll deliver a few to each of our neighbors tomorrow!
