We are continuing with our theme of Thank You cards this month. I love this flower stamp (and sentiment) from the Art Gallery stamp set and I just had to use Real Red this month in honor of Valentine's Day & LOVE! I love to celebrate LOVE! I hope my customers will feel the love when I thank them for ordering with me. I appreciate my customers very much and try to share that with them.
To make this card I first prepared the following: Basic White card base: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2" Real Red Mat: 5 1/4" x 4" Basic white 4 1/2" x 3 1/4" Real Red ink for the flower Memento Tuxedo Black for the "thank you" Elegant Faceted Gems Basic Pearl Jewels Then stamp the flower on the white piece of card stock three times. The stamp on the left and right sides stamp off the edge of the paper. I used the stamparatus to do this by lining the stamp and paper up as shown in the photo below. I started by placing the stamp on the right edge of the paper and "picking it up" with the plate. I stamped the flower on the right, then I just removed the plate and moved it down two "hinges" and stamped again. I moved it a third time to stamp the flower on the left.
After I finished stamping all of the flowers, I cut the white piece into 4 pieces. Each piece was cut 1 1/8" wide. Before I adhered these to the Real Red mat, I stamped "thank you" in the lower right hand corner, being sure it would show when the flower panels were added. I adhered the flower panels slightly off center. The border on the left is smaller than the border on the right.
To finish the cards, I added a bit of bling. I chose three pearls or three gems! I hope you'll agree that this is a great card for February!
As I mentioned previously, this card is part of a blog hop! Be sure to click on the next name below to see what others are making for their thank you card this month.

Your card is beautiful! I love that technique. I was using the same stamp set a couple days ago and I was trying to decide how to use that particular stamp; now I know. Thank you!
