This card reminds me of summer! It's light, bright, and daisies are so much fun! It's one of the cards that I made into a kit for folks who bought the Daisy Lane Bundle in my celebration! I hope you like it and if you'd like to make it, I've included directions! Enjoy!
1.Fold your whisper white card base (8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches) in half and crease with your bone folder. (Remember –mountain or bump in the middle.) This is your card base.
2.Stamp several daisies (small ones that match the medium punch) on a 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 inch piece of Bermuda bay card stock using Bermuda bay ink.. Make sure to stamp some right off the edge of your paper. (Have scrap paper under the Bermuda bay.)
3.Cut a piece of whisper white card stock to 5 1/4 x 4 inches and use the 2 3/4 x 4 1/8 stitched rectangle die to cut out the center.
4.Stamp “Smile” on the top left corner of the white frame. Stamp “It’s your time to shine.” on the lower right corner. Use Bermuda bay ink.
5.Adhere the Bermuda bay piece of card stock to the whisper white base. Be sure to center it.
6.Attach the frame to the Bermuda bay and card base with dimensionals. Use one in each corner and one on the center of each side to keep it level.
7.Stamp two daisies in smoky slate ink. Punch out and adhere together- off setting the leaves.
8.With dimensionalson the back – in the center of the flower- adhere to the card.
I've included the list of supplies that I used. If you don't have exactly what I used....substitute what you do have! I love the framed cards....give it a try!
Some times cards are so easy to make...other times they are a struggle!
This card with the Country Floral 3 D Embossing Folder was a breeze! The embossing folder does all the "heavy lifting" for this card! A little twine and a sentiment and you are done! I think it gets a "big bang for its buck," just saying..... I do have a "Cutting Trick" to keep the embossed section square and true to size! Read it in the instructions below!
Isn't that a beautiful card! Pretty Peacock is such a rich color! I liked it so much that I made it in all of the 2019-2021 In Colors.
You could make this style of card with any embossing folder in your collection. I do think the 3D style is stunning because of the deep impressions.
In case you'd like to make this card, here are the details:
Card base of 8.5 inches x 5.5 inches and score at 4.25
In same color cut a 5.25 x 4 inch piece of card stock and emboss
After embossing cut the embossed piece down to 4.75 x 3.5 inches.
(I emboss first and then cut because the deep embossing changes the size of the paper.)
Cut a whisper white mat at 4 7/8 x 3 5/8 inches.
Attach the embossed piece to the whisper white mat. Wrap with baker's twine or ribbon
and then adhere to the card base.
Choose a sentiment and stamp. Cut out with the second smallest stitched oval. Adhere

I hope you'll try making a card that showcases an embossing folder! I think you'll be pleased.
Happy card making!
