I added this to a white card base with a large sentiment at the top, wrapped a piece of ribbon around it, stamped the inside sentiment and called it a card! Quick and easy and as cute as can be!
It's a great card that's quick and easy to make! Any two-sided patterned paper (Designer Series Paper or DSP) would work so grab a piece and give it a try!
P.S. The patterned paper and two stamps sets used here are retiring! They are available while supplies last until June 3!

There are shapes in the set that make kites, pinwheels, boats and, of course, flowers. Here are a few cards that I've made with this set over the years. (Yes, it's been around for a bit. It's one of those sets you'll use over and over.)
All of these cards were made with the Swirly Bird stamp set. It is not often that one stamp set can make so many distinctly different cards!
The Celebrate and Hello cards also used the Swirly Scribbles framelits (also retiring) with the Swirly Bird stamp set. You can see all of the retiring products and shop by clicking on the link below. All retiring products are available through June 4 or as long as supplies last...so don't wait!

You won't want to miss your chance to order today! Many retiring items will be ordered and most will only be available while supplies last! When they are gone, THEY ARE GONE! If there is a particular stamp set, die or ribbon you've been waiting for....WAIT NO LONGER! You can see the Clearance Rack and Order what your heart desires by clicking the link below!

I'm afraid that many of the DIES will sell out fast....since Stampin' Up! is changing manufacturers of their dies, it looks like they've been letting the supplies get low! The Stitched Shape Dies are already gone! Don't wait too long to order what you need! (DON"T WORRY! Current dies and embossing folders will work with the new machine Stampin' Up! is developing!)
Remember, the 2017-2019 In Colors will be retiring, too! I know that I will miss Lemon Lime Twist and Fresh Fig! Tranquil Tide was a major color in all of my Christmas cards and tags! I have come to rely on these two colors for so many projects! The cardstock, ink refills and embellishments in these colors will go quickly so snatch them up as fast as you can!
New Catalog! So the retiring list and an updated clearance rack remind us that there is a new catalog coming out soon! Be sure to let me know if you'd like to receive one and I'll be sure to get one in your hands as soon as they are available!
Meanwhile, start thinking about your "must haves" and if you see them on the clearance rack, snatch them up before they are gone! Let's Chat'n'Craft together soon! Lorraine
Say it isn't so! Stampin' Up! announced that the Stampin' Trimmer and the Big Shot will retire with the new catalog! You can still buy cutting blades ( 3 packs at a time, while supplies last) and a replacement cutting mat. You can click on any picture below to take a look at these.
If you are like me, you'll be stocking up on replacement blades for the trimmer and a fresh set of cutting pads for the big shot! These will only be available while supplies last so stock up!
Do you want to get the most out of your Stampin'trimmer? I've discovered that if I clean the clear track with the smallest amount of WD-40 it eliminates the "drag" that can make the blade not cut as well. I squirt just a tad (how's that for a technical term?) on a paper towel and run it on the top of track and the underside as well. Try it! I think you'll find it helpful!
I'm happy to submit an order for any of you if you'd rather stock up that way! (Email me at lorraine.tierney@sbcglobal.net ) Just don't wait as I'd hate for you to miss out! Happy Crafting! Lorraine
So, it's true! I am passionate about cutting paper! I think it releases endorphins! I just love to cut paper, throw a few stamps on it and send it off to someone!
Tonight I played with a new stamp set. I hate to admit that I bought this set for the teeny tiny "(c)stampin up" stamp! I am now so happy that I bought it! I am enjoying creating with it!
Then I saw a card on Pinterest by Stampin' in the Sand and I knew I had to try my own version of it. This is what I made!
I am really pleased with it! It was fun and I love the bright colors. I haven't used my Stampin' Blends too often. It was fun to color the scissor blades and handles!
