This post is part of a blog hop that is filled with projects created with and inspired by February's Paper Pumpkin kit. I love the February Paper Pumpkin kit as the cards are beautiful and very comforting. Here are the cards I created. The card with the lacy element was not made exactly according to the instructions...I preferred the white side of the lace and landscape orientation.
When completing the kit as instructed you don't use the large bouquet of flowers stamp. So I couldn't wait to create a card that featured that stamp. Here's the card I created:
I love the bouquet of flowers but I did not want to color them all. I colored the largest flowers both to "pack a punch" and because I felt these matched the flowers on the patterned paper. It was quick and easy to color them using my Misty Moonlight and Seaside Spray Stampin' Blends. The ribbon is colored with Just Jade Stampin' Blends.
To put this card together, I cut the front off of one of the Paper Pumpkin card bases and trimmed it to 5 1/4" x 4". (Both the front and back of the card bases are patterned paper so I decided I could make twice as many cards if I cut the card bases into mat size. ) I layered that on a thick Basic White card base and then I cut a 5" x 3 3/4" piece of the Flower & Field DSP. I wrapped a piece of Misty Moonlight ribbon around that layer before I layered it onto the others. I love the mixture of the patterns and the fact that the colors coordinate so well. Next, I stamped the bouquet of flowers on basic white and cut it with the largest oval from the Layering Ovals dies. I colored the three largest flowers and the ribbon. Then I stamped the sentiment from the kit on white and trimmed it with the 1 3/8" circle punch. (Oops, that is retired but you could use the 1 1/2" circle instead.) I popped the sentiment up on dimensionals. I hope you will check out the creations made by the talented crafters in the list below!

I just couldn't resist this Crafty Challenge. We were provided with a card sketch to interpret as closely or as loosely as we'd like. I immediately had a card idea! I hope you like it.
Here is my card and the sketch is on the left!
As you can see, I did take a bit of artistic license. In place of the banner and tag in the upper left corner, I used the textured embossing from one of the Greenery embossing folders. I love the backdrop that it provides for the butterflies. These butterflies are from the new Butterfly Brilliance stamp set. They will be available from Stampin' Up! on March 2 along matching dies and a beautiful pack of patterned paper. (I have pictures at the end of the post.) Misty Moonlight and Coastal Cabana feel like spring to me and I'm drawn to these colors lately. I partially inked the large, multi-butterfly stamp in Coastal Cabana, Pretty Peacock, and Misty Moonlight. As long as you move from lightest to darkest color it's okay if a bit of a lighter shade of ink gets on your ink pad. I love how the butterflies have an ombre look. I cut them out with the coordinating die and popped them up on dimensionals. Next, I "interpreted" the skinny rectangle as a ribbon and a bow. I love the Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon. My sentiment is from Happy Thoughts and is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink. The die cut is from the Tasteful Labels die set. Happy Thoughts stamp set is one that I seem to be reaching for all the time. This sentiment is perfect both on the front of a card as well as inside. For a bit of shimmer and shine I placed three sequins from the Artistry Blooms pack on the card. I think there is a bit of resemblance to the card sketch. I hope you do too.
Remember this is a blog hop. I hope you will check out the cards created by the talented crafters listed below.
Here are the details on the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set, dies and gorgeous designer series papers. These exclusive Butterfly Bijou papers will only be available from March 2- May 3! (Don't wait to order them or you may miss out! Sales have been exceeding Stampin' Up!'s expectations!)
There IS one way to order the Butterfly Brilliance bundle and the Butterfly Bijou papers now! They can be included in part of your starter kit! You can read all about the starter kit and the ordering special that runs through Feb 28, 2021 here. It's the best deal in the catalog!

Hi Everyone! Today I am participating in a blog hop that is celebrating Spring! It may not feel like spring where you are just yet, but it's coming. In fact, it's pretty snowy here in New Hampshire, but I know spring is on its way! Be sure to check out the beautiful creations by all the crafters. The links are at the end of my instructions.
Here is the card I created:
Tulips were the first thing that popped into my mind when I thought of spring. We moved to a new home last summer and we planted a lot of tulips and daffodils in front of our stone wall. I hope we see a lot of beautiful flowers there as spring arrives.
I chose the colors So Saffron and Pear Pizzaz to make this card and hope it brings you happy thoughts of spring too! Here's how I made this card. 1. Cut a card base 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" from Basic White Thick Cardstock. Score it at 4 1/4". 2. Cut a card mat 5 1/4" x 4" from Pear Pizzaz card stock. Run it through your Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine in the Subtle 3D embossing folder and adhere to the front. 3. Cut a So Saffron piece of Subtes 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper to 5" x 3 3/4" and center on the Pear Pizzaz. 4. Using the largest of the Stitched So Sweetly scalloped rectangles, cut a piece of Basic White card stock. Stamp "It's your day!" from the Under My Umbrella stamp set in the upper right corner. 5. On a piece of Basic White stamp three large tulips from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in So Saffron ink and punch them out with the Tulip Builder punch. 6. Stamp 3 leaves in Pear Pizzaz ink on Pear Pizzaz card stock and punch them out as well. 7. Adhere the tulips and leaves to the scalloped rectangle. Pop up the third tulip and leaf with dimensionals. 8. Wrap a piece of Polka Dot Tulle ribbon around the lower third of the rectangle and tie it in a bow. 9. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the card at an angle. 10. Color three small clear gems from the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets using the Light Old Olive stampin' blend marker and place on the card front. 11. Add a sentiment in the inside of the card if desired. 12. Don't forget to add a tulip to your envelope too!
Hopefully, you have been inspired to make a card today. Remember to check out the creations of these talented crafters! Just click a name below- you won't want to miss anyone.

This month our theme is the Dandy Garden Suite on pages 24-27 of the January -June Mini Catalog. I chose to use the dragonfly image and a sentiment from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set as well as three different papers from the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper pack. The Gilded Leafing on the dragonfly is full of shimmer and shine. It adds a striking touch to this card. This is a joy fold card and here is a photo of the card when opened.
To create this card, begin by cutting a Blackberry Bliss card base that is 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" and score it at 3". Fold the 3" section to the right. Adhere a 2 3/4" x 4" piece of Dandy Garden paper to the front of that piece and a second piece from the same pack cut to 4" x 5 1/4" to the inside of the card base.
Next, create a smaller Blackberry Bliss card base 3" x 8" and score it at 4". Fold it in half and adhere it to the middle of the larger card base so it swings open to the right. On the inside of the smaller card base, adhere a basic white 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" piece of card stock. If desired, stamp a sentiment on this piece. Then close the smaller base and adhere a third pattern of Dandy Garden paper measuring 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" onto the front. To decorate the front of the smaller card base, die cut the second largest stitched oval in Basic White. "For a true friend" is stamped in Blackberry Bliss on the left hand side. The dragon fly was stamped on Blackberry Bliss card stock in Versamark Ink and sprinkled with Heat & Stick powder. The heat and stick powder was melted with the Heat tool and then laid in a bin filled with Gilded Leafing. The excess Gilded Leafing was gently rubbed off with a wedge of Stampin' Sponge. Then the dragonfly was punched out using the Dragonflies Punch. This was adhered to the front of the card with dimensionals. I hope you will check out the cards created by the rest of the Creativity Abounds Design Team. Just click on a name in the list below!

Recently, I participated in the Creativity Abounds Day of Inspiration where several Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world joined ideas to bring you demonstrations every hour of the day. I was happy to present the Art Gallery Stamp Set and the Fine Art Suite of products. One of my favorite cards to make was the Gate Fold card you see above.
Here's what you need: Basic White Card base: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" (not folded- just one rectangle), insert 3 3/4" x 5", 2nd largest plain oval Card Stock: 4" x 11", scored at 3" and 8 1/4", 2nd largest scalloped oval Fine Art Floral Patterned Paper/DSP: 3 3/4" x 2 3/4" AND 3 3/4" x 2 1/2" Art Gallery Stamp Set Heat & Stick Powder Gilded Leafing Stamping Sponge To create the card: 1. Stamp your flower from the Art Gallery stamp set on the white oval. (Achieve the lighter shade by stamping off on a scrap of paper first, and then stamping on the oval without reinking.) Use the smallest "highlight" stamp to add highlights to the two upper flowers. Highlight the leaves and stems using a matching stampin' blend, if desired. Set aside to dry. 2. Fold each end of the 4" x 11" piece of card stock on the score lines towards the middle. They will overlap slightly. 3. Adhere your patterned paper/DSP to the outside of the folded flaps. I prefer the floral paper on the larger flap and the more subtle design on the smaller flap. 4. Stamp your sentiment on the white insert and adhere to the middle panel in the inside of the card. (Portrait orientation for the card shown above.) 5. Center this on the white card base and adhere in place. 6. Now, return to your stamped oval. Using the same "highlight" stamp, stamp with versa mark onto the flower in the center. Sprinkle with the Heat & Stick powder and then melt with the heat tool. 7. Gently press a few flakes of gilded leafing onto the area with the melted Heat & Stick powder. After a moment or two use a wedge of Stamping Sponge to gently brush away any loose pieces of the gilded leafing, leaving it only where the heat & stick powder is holding it. 8. Adhere this oval to the scalloped oval and adhere to the front of the card. Be sure to only apply adhesive to the top half of the oval so your card opens properly. Now, write a message in your card, address your envelope and send your card off to someone! Make someone's day with happy mail! When you can't decide which ONE to use, this is the layout for you! It shows off several different patterns. (The Flower & Field papers are free with a $50 purchase until February 28, 2021.) Directions: 1. Cut a piece of Just Jade card stock 5 1/2" x 11" and score it at 1 1/4", 4", 6 3/4" 2. Fold the left hand (1 1/4") piece towards the right and then accordion fold the base until you have three sections visible on the front. Burnish your folds with your bone folder. 3. Cut one piece of Flower & Field patterned paper 5 1/4" x 12" long and then cut the following pieces from it:
5. Adhere one of the 1" wide pieces of patterned paper to each side of the first flap. 6. Adhere a 2 1/2" wide piece of Flower & Field paper to to the next section so it shows when the card is opened AND closed. 7. Stamp your inside sentiment on the whisper white and then adhere that to the third panel. 8. Adhere the 5 1/4" x 4" piece Flower & Field to the last panel. 9. Stamp your sentiment in Memento ink on a scrap of basic white and die cut with the second largest stitched square and layer it on a Just Jade scalloped square. Now write a message in the card and send it off! Please sign up to receive my emails so you'll get tips, tricks, and inspiration right to your inbox every week. Here is a video you can watch to see how to make this card and the card described below as well. Video for making the Fun Fold Birthday card and the Flower & Field birthday cards below. All of the cards in the above photo use the same layout! The only difference is the color of the base and the patterns of the paper! The 2020-2022 In Colors match very well with these papers. Just Jade, Bumblebee. and Misty Moonlight would all be an excellent choice for card bases. To create these cards you will need: 1. Card Base cut 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" ; scored at 4 1/4", Cut large scalloped circle in same color. 2. Cut a black mat 3 7/8" x 5 1/8", cut a banner 3/4" x 4 1/8" 3. Cut a piece of Flower & Field patterned paper to 5" x 3 3/4". (If you do not like the front and back of these papers together cut another piece of patterned paper so you can mix and match.) 4. Cut the Flower & Field paper so you have a 3 3/4" x 3 1/2" piece. The remaining piece should be 3 3/4" x 1 3/4". 5. Basic White for inside 5 1/4" x 4" and for large circle for sentiment. To assemble: 1. Layer your two pieces of Flower & Field patterned paper on the black mat with the larger piece at the top. Leave a small border around the outed edges but have the two papers meet in the middle. 2. Adhere that layer to the front of your card base. 3. Adhere the banner over the area where the two pieces of patterned paper meet. 4. Stamp your sentiment on the white circle. 5. Adhere sentiment to the scalloped circle and pop it up with dimensionals on the front of the card. 6. Stamp a sentiment on the white mat and adhere to the inside of the card. Now your card is ready to be signed and mailed! Product List

Thank you for visiting our Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Monthly Training Program Blog Hop! We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach the goals we have set. We really appreciate your support and we hope that you will be inspired by these creative cards.

We are continuing with our theme of Thank You cards this month. I love this flower stamp (and sentiment) from the Art Gallery stamp set and I just had to use Real Red this month in honor of Valentine's Day & LOVE! I love to celebrate LOVE! I hope my customers will feel the love when I thank them for ordering with me. I appreciate my customers very much and try to share that with them.
To make this card I first prepared the following: Basic White card base: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2" Real Red Mat: 5 1/4" x 4" Basic white 4 1/2" x 3 1/4" Real Red ink for the flower Memento Tuxedo Black for the "thank you" Elegant Faceted Gems Basic Pearl Jewels Then stamp the flower on the white piece of card stock three times. The stamp on the left and right sides stamp off the edge of the paper. I used the stamparatus to do this by lining the stamp and paper up as shown in the photo below. I started by placing the stamp on the right edge of the paper and "picking it up" with the plate. I stamped the flower on the right, then I just removed the plate and moved it down two "hinges" and stamped again. I moved it a third time to stamp the flower on the left.
After I finished stamping all of the flowers, I cut the white piece into 4 pieces. Each piece was cut 1 1/8" wide. Before I adhered these to the Real Red mat, I stamped "thank you" in the lower right hand corner, being sure it would show when the flower panels were added. I adhered the flower panels slightly off center. The border on the left is smaller than the border on the right.
To finish the cards, I added a bit of bling. I chose three pearls or three gems! I hope you'll agree that this is a great card for February!
As I mentioned previously, this card is part of a blog hop! Be sure to click on the next name below to see what others are making for their thank you card this month.

The beautiful Berry Delightful patterned paper you see on this card is a Sale-a-bration 2021 free product! It is bundled with the Berry Blessings stamp set and you can earn it free with a purchase of $100 (before shipping and tax.) To make this card you will need to prepare the following: 1. Rich Razzleberry card stock Card base 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” , scored at 4 1/4” Strip 1/2” x 4” 2. Garden Green card stock Square 2 3/4” x 2 3/4” 3. Berry Delightful Paper/DSP #1 5 1/4” x 4” card will be in portrait orientation 4. Berry Delightful Patterned Paper/DSP #2 (or White Card stock to stamp on the square) Square 2 1/2” x 2 1/2” 4. White Card stock 5 1/4” x 4” for inside mat Rich Razzleberry Ink, Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set The banner die is from the Tasteful Labels set of dies. Scraps for sentiment and any dies/punches, or decorations Sticky note (3" x 3"), Adhesives, trimmer, bone folder, bling Begin by folding your card base in half and burnishing it on the fold. Add the first piece of Berry Delightful paper (5 1/4" x 4") to the front of the card. Use extra adhesive in the top right corner as shown below. ***The cutting is a bit tricky the first time. You could just place a sticky note on a scrap of % 1/4" x 4" card stock to do this the first time.** Then place the sticky note in the top right hand corner on top of the card front as the photo above illustrates. You will cut along the left hand edge and bottom edge of this sticky note BUT start cutting 5/8" from the edge of the card and cut until you line up with the corner of the sticky note. When you cut, put the edge of the sticky note (marked with 5/8") on the cutting groove and the other edge of the 3" line of your cutter. The photos below show what I mean. Your card will be moved up to the top edge of the trimmer....I just wanted you to see the 3" mark. Now the tricky part is over. Take off the sticky note. (Use your paper snips to complete the cut at the corner, if needed.) To fold the corner over take hold of the TOP RIGHT corner of the card and gently fold it toward the front of the card. Encourage the card to fold from the top edge to the right hand edge. Adhere the that to the card front with your adhesive. (Please excuse the torn paper in these photos. I've taken the card apart several times to photograph!) I hope this helps you to see how the top right corner folds down to the front of the card. You will now see the patterned paper in the inside of your card! To finish the card, adhere the small strip and your sentiment along the lower portion of the card front. Adhere the white mat inside the card! You are now done! Phew! The first time is always the most difficult! I can't wait to see what you create!
